Le batterie AGM utilizzano la stessa tecnologia ad elettrolita assorbito impiegata nelle batterie  per moto e industriali, che sono disponibili sul mercato da diversi anni. La fibra di vetro assorbente (Absorbent Glass Mat) comunemente chiamato "pannolino" assorbe l’acido della batteria, il pannolino rimanendo a stretto contatto con la piastra di piombo  consente un utilizzo più efficiente del volume della cella e ha una  serie di vantaggi chiave:

  • In condizioni operative normali, l’utilizzo del  del separatore di tipo Glass Mat assicura la ricombinazione dei gas e previene le perdite d’acqua, eliminando così la necessità di riserve di elettrolita e l’esigenza di manutenzione.
  • Uno speciale sistema di sfiato assicura una pressione ideale assicurando una batteria al 100% a prova di perdite.
  • L’assorbimento dell’acido da parte del separatore di tipo Glass Mat rende gli elementi della batteria più efficienti, anche in condizioni di pressioni più elevate rispetto alle batterie al piombo libero convenzionali. I vantaggi includono una vita ciclica della batteria significativamente più lunga, una maggiore resistenza alle vibrazioni, una capacità di avviamento superiore, mantenendo lo stesso formato delle classiche batterie ad acido libero.

Le batterie AGM utilizzano la stessa tecnologia ad elettrolita assorbito impiegata nelle batterie  per moto e industriali, che sono disponibili sul mercato da diversi anni. La fibra di vetro assorbente (Absorbent Glass Mat) comunemente chiamato "pannolino" assorbe l’acido della batteria, il pannolino rimanendo a stretto contatto con la piastra di piombo  consente un utilizzo più efficiente del volume della cella e ha una  serie di vantaggi chiave:

  • In condizioni operative normali, l’utilizzo del  del separatore di tipo Glass Mat assicura la ricombinazione dei gas e previene le perdite d’acqua, eliminando così la necessità di riserve di elettrolita e l’esigenza di manutenzione.
  • Uno speciale sistema di sfiato assicura una pressione ideale assicurando una batteria al 100% a prova di perdite.
  • L’assorbimento dell’acido da parte del separatore di tipo Glass Mat rende gli elementi della batteria più efficienti, anche in condizioni di pressioni più elevate rispetto alle batterie al piombo libero convenzionali. I vantaggi includono una vita ciclica della batteria significativamente più lunga, una maggiore resistenza alle vibrazioni, una capacità di avviamento superiore, mantenendo lo stesso formato delle classiche batterie ad acido libero.
